Bradford also ranks in the UK top 10 for five of its subjects – physiotherapy, forensic science, ophthalmics, occupational therapy and medical technology with nursing (including midwifery), archaeology and chemical engineering all featuring in the top 20. The University of Bradford has been chosen as the top green university in the UK and 8th in the World in a survey by DesignCurial.
It follows successive rises in recent years. In the 2016 guide the university rose from 77th to 63rd place, while the year before it had risen from 83rd. The figures mean Bradford has risen 30 places in three years, and this year’s 10-place jump is one of the biggest of any university.The subject rankings are based on student satisfaction, research quality, research intensity, entry standards and graduate prospects and include 136 universities, university colleges and specialist higher education institutions.
